First impressions mean a lot, from what one wears to how one speaks. How one carries themselves says volumes, and this Outlander is no exception. Ignoring the fact they are often gilded in leather armor and some form of blade or bow, it would be clear at first glance that the rover is no simple traveler.

They walk with a measured step, always toe to heel to suss out trouble on the ground before full weight is allowed to settle. Effort is made to be quiet when approaching situations and people.

Formality tends to take control out of reflex in most situations. Posture will always be militant in some form, be it hands clasped at the small of back or shoulders squared or a hand resting on sword hilt. Greetings are always accompanied by a bow, either of the head or from the waist. Handshakes, though rare, are a firm clasping of forearms.

The astute will notice littler things, ranging from the way in which they tilt their head when listening, a hyperfocused stare when watching things and people, the roughness of fingers and palms from physical labor, to the nervous tic of rubbing their neck or the slight favoring of left leg now and again.

While trained from a young age in the ways of spilling blood, the rover is hardly a master of the art. This knowledge has been valuable in many a situation but there is still much for them to learn.
